Due to increased demand, Stamford Roofing has the below job opportunity

Title : Roof slater & Tiler

Criteria : The applicant should have at least 5-10yrs knowledge of the roof slating and tiling industry

* Be able to work by themselves
* be able to problem solve and show initiative in solving problems
* Have pride in all work produced
* Be confident in communicating with clients
* follow all health and safety rules

Working hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
Overtime available at weekends

✅ POSITION - GENERAL ROOFER

✅ DETAILS -

Stamford Roofing has a position for a General roofer, we are looking for the following :

* At least 10yrs provable experience
* knowledge of Roof tiling / natural slating / General repairs / flat roofing (optional)
* Experience within historic and new build roofing
* Be able to work independently and as a team
* Ability to communicate with clients
* Have a Clean valid uk driving licence
* Ability to get to and from our offices for the working day
* Pride in all aspects of their craftsmanship and work
* Keep their site / project clean and tidy

WHAT WE OFFER :

✅ Fully on the books PAYE
✅ Full holiday entitlement & Pay

✅ Work Uniform (tops / jumpers / jackets)
✅ No Wet days off or loss of pay

💰 Pay is based on proven ability and skill

This was another project that involved sourcing the best reclaim tiles to match in with the surrounding properties

The colours on these tiles are stunning , Reclaimed Triple roll

Clients request was that he wished it to match the rest of the building and have no visible lead.. But a solid weather seal

The team went back to traditional methods and mixed it with modern lead, fitted under the mortar flaunching is a small chased in lead flashing, coated with 2 coats of bitumen primer and a grit to bond the new mortar to

Achieving a water tight finish under the decorative mortar

We have a great source of partners to find the very best in reclaimed materials for heritage projects .
We travel the length of the country finding the best reclaimed Welsh slates or period tiles

This was an amazing project to be involved in, plenty of meetings, plenty of Natural slate samples meaning plenty of cost options.

We spent time with this great couple who was under taking a full face lift and renovation of an established property in Stamford .

You have probably seen we have been very active in the middle of our beautiful home town high street over the month of January ..

Helping out on the refurbishment works of the old Halifax bank , this is a beautiful property and just up the road we are assisting in the restoration of another beautiful shop that house’s the fantastic Rennet & Rind Cheese shop at street level .

Working on behalf of RTK Stamford , Thisis a full Heritage Collyweston slate Re-roof, We are moving onto the rear of the property now whilst the joinery firm do their stuff on the windows .

We have learnt you cannot walk past this shop with out being drawn into taste and smell the fabulous Cheeses on offer .
