Everyone here at SeaBro Scaffolding Ltd was pleased to receive the news we had been awarded "Subcontractor of the Year" from our valued client Dandara (Eastern) last week. It's been a pleasure to be involved in projects throughout Essex and we look forward to further continued success together.

Success for both parties over the last 12 months wouldn't have been possible without the input and relationships built between representatives from both organisations. So a special thank you to our Management team and operatives alongside those at Dandara (Eastern) as well as all other sub-contract trades on-site.

Today is World Mental Health day 💙

This year's World Mental Health Day has come around at a time where our lives are returning to some sense of normality but the effects that Coronavirus & isolation have had on mental health cannot be understated!

The World Health Organisation has recognised
World Mental Health Day and this year's theme is 'Mental Health For All’ let's make it a reality.

To those who have experienced loss and to
everyone who has experienced lockdown over the last year we understand the huge impact it has had on us all. The reasoning for this year's theme, mental health for all, has been chosen as
everyone around the world has been affected by
the coronavirus outbreak, and the huge impact on peoples mental health.

Whatever you've been through this year, we
know you can come out on the other side. Having said this, use this day to set yourself a goal this week, or aim to learn something or move your body.

Remember to be kind to others and as well
as yourself and know that you are not alone if you are struggling, and there are people who can support you if you ever do need it.
Let's bring awareness and continue to educate
about mental health whilst helping break the
stigma.

An opportunity has arisen for a confident candidate to join our team as a trainee/apprentice. This position would suit someone who is looking to gain experience in an office environment or to someone who has experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for the role, work as part of a team and to assist the estimating and surveying team to produce monthly reports as well as learn to produce there own quotations and survey ongoing projects once trained.

Experience of the construction industry is not required as this is an introductory role, however this position could suit someone who has experience on site and is looking to progress into an office based/management role

Responsibilities

General office administration, filing, scanning documents
Record incoming tenders as well as outgoing quotations
Read & identify client specifications / scope of works & fully prepare tender documents for the estimating department.
Liaise with Project Supervisors to communicate client requirements and projects specification
Qualifications / Skills

Motivated, with a can do attitude
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel is essential.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Time management and ability to work on multiple set tasks throughout a working week
Have an understanding of the construction tender process
Hours are 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time
