Making use of awkward spaces is one of my favourite types of projects.

This bespoke under-stairs storage unit was designed and built to maximise storage while creating a feature within the hallway.

The rich walnut finish brings warmth and character to the space, while the moisture-resistant MDF doors and drawer fronts were painted to complement the surrounding interior, creating a clean and seamless look.

From blank canvas to fully functional storage 🔨✨

This project started with an unused area and an old shower being used for storage. The client asked me to take a look and come up with something practical — so we got to work designing a bespoke solution that made the most of every inch.

The final design features:
• A large wardrobe on the left with plenty of hanging space and shelving
• A tall shelving unit on the far right
• A smart access point leading through to the old shower alcove
• The alcove itself transformed into additional hanging space at the back

All built using moisture-resistant MDF, finished in a clean matte white with stylish handles for a modern look 🤍

Turning an awkward space into something both practical and sleek.
