We hope all of our valued customers, friends, colleagues and future clients had a wonderful Christmas, we are enjoying a well earned break. We will soon be back on the tools and next year we will be trading under our new name of Vision Paving and Resin Bound. We have been pacing the transition to our new branding slowly as we have been JLW Landscapes for so many years and we wouldn't want anybody to think it's a forced move, and we will still be trading under JLW into January/February until our shiny new website is finished.
We would like to invite everyone to follow our new page which has been tagged and join us on our new chapter, one which will be kept much busier on the social media aspect. Thanks again guys. See you in the new year.

Another happy customer. Unusually, we slabbed the full driveway, it's not something we normally do, but the customer was adamant so here we are👍 We had to allow a good depth of sub base, plus a nice deep full contact bed of mortar to ensure the slabs won't crack when they're driven on, so we used many tonnes more materials than we would on a standard slabbed patio. The slabs were primed before being installed. We squared the brickwork to the old man hole to the house and fitted a new recessed lid. Hidden aco channels were used to allow the pattern of the slabs to run all the way to the building with minimal interruption. Cobbled edges and the cobble/slabbed step finish it all off. We also replaced one bay of fencing and installed a corner post so the customer can return the fence to the house when they're ready.
Virgin media fibre optic and next door BT were all underground in ducting, but it's nothing we are not used to 🫣.
There have been so many people stopping to look at this driveway whilst we were finishing, it makes the house stand out from the crowd 👌

Driveway project is underway. We have ripped out the old driveway and bushes, compacted some type 1 and worked our levels out ready for edging blocks and drainage channels Tomorrow, as well as new brickwork on a manhole chamber and a new fence post and gravel board for one bay which needs replacing. Love weather for it too 👌💯

Too much to put on one post, but seeing as we haven't posted much in a while, here's a little selection of photos of what we've been up to. Haven't posted anything in a while, I think alittle update is in order soon of what we've been up to, but here's a base we started today for a 20x12 summerhouse. We're using pine sleepers as shuttering, it's going to be a nice deep steel reinforced concrete base. We have also made a nice start on a trench for the armoured cable which will later provide power for the build.At least its not been ra*ning (we can't say the word or we'll curse it).

Another enjoyable little job......... a pergola which looks beautiful (we had to lift several slabs to install concrete pads to fix legs to), a 4x2 solid framed gate with a top grade Perry lock, a 10x8 pent roofed shed with 3x2 framing and a firestone rubber roof, a block paved winding path tied in with existing blocks and some real turf to finish it all off 👍
