Woodwork Operative – Fence Panels, Gates & Timber Products

D&J Projects are looking for a hardworking and reliable Woodwork Operative to join our team at our yard in Nottingham (NG6 0GA).
This is a full-time, hands-on role in a busy yard producing high-quality timber products including fence panels, gates, and trellis, alongside general yard duties.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 07:30am – 5:00pm
Occasional Saturdays & Bank Holidays: 07:30am – 2:00pm

Duties Include:
• Manufacturing fence panels, gates, trellis, and other timber products
• Operating basic woodworking tools and machinery
• Cutting, assembling, and finishing wood products
• General yard work and assisting with daily operations
• Handling materials and equipment safely
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised

Requirements:
• Physically fit, reliable, and hardworking
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous woodworking or construction experience preferred but not essential
• Forklift licence beneficial but not required
