🐝🚨 LATE NIGHT WASP EMERGENCY! 🚨🐝

An urgent late-night call-out after a large number of wasps started pouring through a bedroom ceiling! 😳

The wasps had built a nest inside the ceiling void and had been chewing away at the plasterboard, creating a weak spot.

When the homeowner tapped the weakened area, the plasterboard gave way, allowing wasps to flood into the room!

FurBeGone Pest Control was called out to eliminate the nest and safely remove it. ✅🐝

⚠️ If you notice unusual marks or scratching sounds coming from your ceiling, don't ignore them!

🐀🚨 RATS ENTERING THROUGH THE DRAINS! 🚨🐀

A tricky one for FurBeGone Pest Control!

Rats had chewed through a drainage fitting, then burrowed beneath the foundations and into the property's wall cavities! 🏠🐀

🔎 A well-hidden entry point that was extremely difficult to locate… but FurBeGone found it! 💪✅

⚠️ Simply putting down poison won't solve the problem if the entry point isn't found!

✅ We don't just treat rats — we find out how they're getting in!

🕊️ Pigeons have completely taken over this balcony!

This video shows just how bad the problem has become, with a heavy build-up of pigeon guano, nesting debris and dead pigeon carcasses across the large balcony area.

This level of contamination can quickly become a serious hygiene issue and will require professional clearance, cleaning and pigeon proofing to prevent the problem returning.

Another one for FurBeGone Pest Control to get sorted. 👊

🚧 Drainage Clearance & Drain Fly Investigation 🚧

Last week we carried out a CCTV drainage survey after ongoing drainage and drain fly issues. During the survey, we found the system was completely blocked.

We returned today to carry out hydro jetting and discovered the blockage was being caused by large lumps of concrete, likely left behind from a relatively recent extension. The drain had been blocked for so long that the manhole had effectively turned into a cesspit, full of stagnant waste and ideal conditions for drain flies to breed.

Using our Picote machine, we broke up and removed the concrete before thoroughly washing the drain down and cleaning the manhole.

The system is now clear and ready for a second CCTV survey to make sure there are no further defects.

By removing the blockage, stagnant waste and organic build-up, we’ve also removed a major breeding and feeding source for the drain flies, which should massively reduce the problem.

🪳 Cockroach Treatment – Stevenage 🪳

We recently attended a flat in Stevenage after c**kroach activity was discovered in the kitchen.

Cockroaches can quickly spread through kitchens, cupboards and appliances, so early treatment is essential. A professional treatment programme was carried out to target the infestation and help prevent it from spreading further.

If you've spotted c**kroaches in your home or business, don't leave it to get worse.

🚨 Large Drain Fly Infestation Found in a School 🚨

We were recently called to a school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, where a large number of drain flies had been found.

In this video, I explain the extent of the problem and show the Scanprobe X60 CCTV drain camera that we use to inspect drainage systems and help identify the source of infestations.

Drain flies are often linked to damaged pipework, standing water, or organic build-up within the drainage system. Treating the flies alone will not always solve the underlying issue.

The customer discovered this hidden nest while moving some old rubbish. The wasps had built their home inside a roll of old underlay carpet, making it a nasty surprise.

The nest was safely treated and completely removed, leaving the area secure once again. If you uncover unwanted guests while clearing out your garden, garage, or shed, give FurBeGone Pest Control a call! 🐝💪

🐝 Called out to treat a large active wasp nest in a customer's garage, but during the inspection we also found a second, smaller active nest hidden nearby. Both nests were safely treated and the garage is now wasp-free! ✅

🚧 Redundant drainage line allowing potential rodent access. We identified the unused pipework and installed a permanent pipe stop to securely seal the line and prevent future pest ingress.
