This partnership allows us to regularly measure our work against industry benchmarks and identify opportunities to go beyond expectations.

We are proud to share the results of our latest NHBC Brickwork Trade Specific CQR Report at Warwick Place, Cheshunt for Croudace Homes:

✅ 100% positive scores
✅ Average Build Stage Score: 4.83

"Quality was consistently very good across all plots reviewed. Strengths highlighted included accurate setting out, full and even joint filling, clean cavities, correctly installed DPCs and trays, compliant lintel bearings, and precise fire stopping installation."

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for brickwork projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms.
- Conduct detailed take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other documents to produce precise estimates.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying and addressing any potential cost overruns.
- Provide cost analysis and value engineering advice to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Prepare and submit tender documents, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules.
- Assist in managing variations, claims, and final accounts, ensuring all costs are accounted for and reported accurately.
- Maintain and update pricing databases to reflect current market rates and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry, with a focus on brickwork.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations related to the industry.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as blue beam and MS Office applications.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field are highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.

Extremly proud of the teams at Bishops Stortford, the teams always striving for excellence.

Had a great time visiting site today! The quality of the brickwork was 10/10 and it was amazing to see the first 10 being handed over.

Our Jetwash department had a easy time cleaning down then brickwork just look at that smile 😁
