Seasons Ground Care Ltd are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives.

We are currently looking to recruit several enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operatives to maintain gardens on a site in Welwyn Garden City.

This is a full time position and the hours are 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Duties/Key Responsibilities

The safe use of rotary mowers, strimmer’s, leaf blowers and other horticultural machines .
Soil cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, and pruning .
Bed preparation and planting .
Hedge and shrub trimming.
Keeping the borders, clear and free from debris and litter at all times.
Gritting, salt spreading and snow clearing when required,
Ensuring that all visited locations are left in a clean and tidy state.
Reporting any faulty equipment, damage, vandalism, or potential hazard to the Contract Manager.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance duties and machinery are desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Full drivers license essential.
Be reliable with a positive enthusiastic attitude with a good eye for detail.
Enjoy physical work and working outside in all weathers.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Salary depending on experience.

We are asking for your help again with a few essential items for our drop in on Monday. It would be much appreciated if you could spare any of the following;

🔸️ Tinned fish
🔸️ Microwave rice
🔸️ Pasta & Sauce
🔸️ Pot Noodles
🔸 ️Desserts – Custard/tinned fruit etc
🔸 ️Treats - KitKat/Club/ breakfast bars etc
🔸 ️Biscuits
🔸 ️Coffee Sachets
🔸 ️Toilet roll
🔸 ️Baby wipes
🔸 ️Carrier bags

If you are able to make a donation, please drop off at the Lamex Stadium on Monday between 4.30 and 7.00 or to the Scout Hut at The Lady Immaculate Church, Hitchin on Wednesday betwen 6 and 8.

We couldn't run our drop-ins as successfully without all of the donations we receive!

This entails a regular monthly payment set up as a direct debt , this covers fuel , tax , MOT , wear and tear and cleaning costs .
