Here is a quirky wee roof that Marshall Roofing slated at the begining of the year, it is a Burlington slate, quarried near Kirby-in-Furness in the Lake District, it’s a very good quality sate to work with and pleasing finish with random sizes/widths and diminishing corses fixed with copper nails. finished off with lead to the ridging, hips and chimney held in place with copper strap to prevent any wind up lift, Here’s a few photos.

Here is a variety of of different roofs carried out by Marshall Roofing recently, there are some slate, Tiled, box profile steel sheeting, flat roof systems and lead works, we were very busy last year despite the 4 months of lock down and this year is filling up quickly, if you have any queries about your own roof please just get in touch even if it’s for some Freindly advice.
