Chorlton Project update 🏠

The front elevation is almost fully slated - before we could get there though, we had to work through a 25mm deflection across the roof caused by a poorly built loft conversion. To correct it, we packed the base out from 25mm down to 10mm across the bottom half of the roof. Around the back, the chimney's been rebuilt and raised five courses with a fresh flaunch and an extended liner.

Next up, it's the lead work, ridges, and a mortar fillet up the gable - then we move onto the outrigger. On track to finish on time.

Traditional slate re-roof in a Chorlton conservation area 👇

Lots of elements to this project and a real attention to detail needed throughout. The scope covered everything from a full slate re-roof and chimney rebuild through to new leadwork, Velux windows and an insulation upgrade.

We’ve given this Macclesfield carport a brand new lease of life with a durable, weatherproof EPDM roof 🌧️

While replacing the main roof, we also upgraded the old plastic carport roof - carefully removing the old structure to protect the rest of the property.

We built a strong new frame and fitted a seamless EPDM rubber roof - far tougher and more weatherproof than old plastic, and it looks great too.

Here's a look at the before, during, and after from our recent project in Poynton 🛠️
