This light-up spirit level đŸ”„

Because trying to see tiny little bubbles while balancing on a step ladder without your glasses on is not ideal 👀

No need for leg day at the gym when you’ve been applying decking tape all day 😅

My legs are absolutely finished from stepping over joists.

But decking tape plays a really important role in protecting the frame from water sitting on the timber over time
 especially in the UK weather.

A lot of the work that makes decking last properly is the stuff people never actually see.

That’s why I’ll always put just as much focus into what’s underneath the boards as the finished look on top.

It’s been really exciting seeing who’s joining us for the DIY for Women: Drill with Confidence Workshops.

Our first one is coming up on Tuesday 17th March, so I thought it was a good moment to re-introduce ourselves for anyone new here.

Hopefully you already know I’m Nathan, aka The Cheshire Wood Wizard
 and joining me for the workshops is Mrs Wizard herself – Leanne.

We’ve got a really lovely group of women joining us already, which is exactly what we hoped for. There are a couple of spaces left for the first workshop if anyone would like to come along and learn how to use a drill properly and confidently.

You’ll get a warm welcome - and leave with a new skill and the confidence to tackle some of those DIY jobs you’ve been putting off.
