Got a free afternoon? Sealing a floor is a proper weekend job, and here's how it goes:

1️⃣ Test a small area first and let it cure for 24 hours
2️⃣ Make sure the floor is clean, dry and free of residue and old treatments
3️⃣ Apply one generous, even coat – it should stay wet-looking for about 5 seconds
4️⃣ After about 10 minutes, buff off the excess with clean, dry white cloths
5️⃣ Very absorbent stone? Add a second coat after 3 hours

Socks and slippers after 4 hours, and give it 48 hours before it gets wet.

How much do you need? A litre covers about 35–45 m² per coat on ceramic and porcelain, or about 10–20 m² per coat on honed natural stone, depending on how absorbent it is.

It's a ceramic tile repair kit and porcelain tile repair kit in one, for chips, cracks and screw holes in floor and wall tiles. Once the filler is completely hard (about 1 hour), you can walk on the floor as normal.

This is where the transformation really starts to happen.

After completing the restoration work, we switch to our TileMaster Flexi Diamond Pads to refine the surface and create a smooth, even satin honed finish.

Every pass removes the scratches left by the previous grit, gradually revealing a beautifully consistent finish that’s soft to the touch and highlights the natural character of the travertine.

The aim isn’t a high-gloss shine—it’s a luxurious, elegant satin finish that suits the stone perfectly.

Once the honing process is complete, we thoroughly clean every surface to remove any residue and leave the bar tops perfectly prepared for the final stage.

Next up… sealing.

We’ll be applying a premium impregnating sealer to enhance the stone’s natural beauty while protecting it from everyday spills and staining.

After removing years of stains, ring marks, etching and flattening the seams in Part 1, it was time to apply our anti-etching protection system.

This advanced coating bonds to the marble surface, creating a durable barrier that helps protect against the everyday acids, spills and wear that typically damage natural stone in busy commercial environments.
