🔥 BLACK MARBLE RESTORATION – PART 1 🔥

Years of wear, drink rings, stains, etching and uneven seams had taken their toll on this beautiful black marble worktop in a famous steakhouse restaurant.

In Part 1, we reveal the extent of the damage, assess the problem areas, flatten the seams and begin removing the stains and ring marks that have built up over years of heavy commercial use.

Office Floor Restoration in York: Part 2 (The Results) 🏢✨

The wait is over! We have officially wrapped up the commercial porcelain tile restoration at the office in York, and the results speak for themselves.
The dark, deeply stained grout joints are completely gone. Thanks to the premium colour seal application ( TileMaster Grout Master), the entire floor has been restored back to exactly how the client wanted it: clean, uniform, and looking brand new.

Porcelain Grout Revival - Colour Seal - Part 1

We are on-site at a commercial office in York today to tackle a major floor restoration. While the porcelain tiles themselves are incredibly durable, the grout lines have absorbed years of heavy foot traffic, leaving them deeply discoloured and stained.
Standard cleaning methods simply won’t cut it for a high-traffic commercial space.
Here is our precise ex*****on plan for Part 1:
1. The Deep Extraction Clean: We are deploying our professional-grade, high-pressure extraction system to emulsify and blast away years of deeply embedded dirt, grease, and bacteria from the porous grout.
2. Surface Prep: Ensuring the floor is 100% dry, neutralized, and ready to bond with the protective layer.
3. The Colour Seal Application: We will be applying a premium, commercial-grade colour seal. This doesn’t just mask the stains—it creates a completely uniform appearance and locks out future dirt and spills entirely.

With the marble now beautifully silk honed and completely dry, it’s time for the final step: sealing with TileMaster Colour Enhancer.

Applying an even coat across the entire surface helps enrich the natural colour of the stone while providing essential protection against staining and everyday use.

The process is simple but important:

Once the surface is completely dry, it’s ready for the next crucial stage: sealing. This helps protect the marble and preserve the finish we’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Marble Worktop Polish - Part 2

Refining the Finish 🔹

Now that we’ve completed the initial honing stage with the 400 grit Flexi Pad, it’s time to thoroughly wash out the pad and remove any slurry from the surface.

Next, we move on to the 800 grit Blue Flexi Pad. This stage further refines the marble, smoothing out the scratch pattern left by the 400 grit and beginning to develop that beautiful, consistent low-sheen finish.

The key here is patience and consistency. Each grit builds on the last, and skipping steps or rushing the process will show in the final result.

“Come polish a marble floor with me”

✨ Marble Floor Restoration in Progress ✨

A lot of people see the finished shine, but the real work happens in the preparation.

Today we were polishing this marble floor using our Hybrid Diamond system. These diamonds are ideal for floors that haven’t previously been fully ground, allowing us to remove minor lippage while still achieving an exceptional polish.

The process starts with protecting all walkways using Packexe fleece before working through the diamond stages from 400 grit right up to 3000 grit. Each stage is completed wet using our Conan machine and splash guard, with slurry immediately recovered using our Triple Vac and 90-litre recovery tank to keep the site clean and prevent water migration.

As we progress through each grit, the clarity and reflection continue to build until the stone develops a deep, natural shine.

The final step today was buffing the floor with a white pad to remove any remaining residue before leaving it overnight to dry, ready for sealing tomorrow.

Natural stone restoration isn’t a quick fix—it’s a process. But when it’s done correctly, the results speak for themselves. 👌
