This project involved the complete transformation of an ageing industrial building, inside and out. The aim was to improve its appearance, protect the building envelope and prepare the property for the lettings market.
Externally, the works included cladding and curtain wall coating, cut edge corrosion treatment, a full roof and gutter coating system, window film application and car park line marking.
Internally, the existing mezzanine was removed to create a new undercroft and improve the warehouse layout. The internal cladding, structural steelwork, blockwork and plasterboard were resprayed before a new epoxy resin floor coating was applied.
The office and welfare areas were also fully refurbished, with new carpet and Altro flooring, upgraded bathrooms and kitchen facilities, and complete redecoration throughout.
With multiple trades working across the entire building, careful programming, sequencing and quality control were essential to bring everything together as one coordinated refurbishment package.
The completed building has been modernised throughout, with a consistent finish both internally and externally. It is now ready for the lettings market, while the external building envelope is protected by an Alltimes Coatings Ltd system supported by a 20-year manufacturer-backed guarantee.
A significant practical completion milestone and a great example of what can be achieved through a coordinated full-building refurbishment.
