Hello 🌿
These past few months I’ve done both maintenance gardening jobs as well as creating a couple of new little areas for people (and of course making wreaths to decorate the fencing at Higher Ground in Allendale). I haven’t really been taking photos but here are some of the few I do have (including one of my client’s cute pet rabbit who has an outside enclosure).
Some of my jobs have included ..
🌱A lot of w**ding
🌱Re-creating edging on two different gardens (digging out and reinstating rubber edging, and also re-cutting a grass border with a half moon edger)
🌱Digging over and edging an area for a new bed (and removing a lot of stones), discussing a design and then planting up with chosen plants (I took some before photos but forgot to take an after- maybe in the spring/summer I’ll put the “after”). And planting it with spring bulbs too.
🌱A fair bit of cutting back , dead heading etc
🌱 Some nice “selective” w**ding for my neighbour who likes wild flowers- we worked together to keep her beds mostly w**d free but pretty wild- she guided me on her preferences. As well as some more “all or nothing” w**ding where stuff was taking over- which we planted up with new plants. (Pictured is me holding a plant she gave me)

🌱Potting up hanging baskets
🌱The Never Ending Strawberries (w**ding)
🌱Helping to untangle the roots of a potted giant monstera house plant (cheese plant) so it could be separated and re-potted and potted up as new plants (not in my job description but I didn’t mind at all)
🌱Mowing.
🌱Deliberately snapping off dandelions rather than uprooting them as per request of my client so they grow back for her rabbits 🐇
