It’s been a busy weekend but over 609 Tons of old surface has been taken out of this 20 x 60 indoor riding school at stotfold crest stables.

We used a 14 ton 360 excavator along with x2 tractor and dump trailers to complete phase one.

The 14ton 360 is equipped with the very latest laser level technology which allows us to get within 20mm of near perfect levels.

This is a huge advantage as it allows us to save both time and money.

It’s also helps to ensure that there is no need for unnecessary surface to be used due to poor levels.

Sunday’s are for arena maintenance 😉

Yesterday we popped over to see James Adams. James has just topped his arena up with some fresh fibres but they were all sitting on the top and creating a very bad surface to ride on.

With the help of the 3meter power Harrow we soon blended these into the existing silica sand creating a much better surface.

You could see and feel the difference straight away. Not only does the Harrow blend tired surfaces it also does a great job at levelling them too.
