We often get asked questions regarding fuseboard changes and what is it we are advising the customer has fitted.

I have tried to answer some of those questions with these slides along with a picture of what we believe a fuseboard should look once completed using the correct equipment.

With the rise in electric prices we thought it would be a good time to share information about a product to control your heating system room by room.

The Honeywell evo home system can be easily fitted to allow the individual control of every radiator within the house, all that’s needed is a Wi-Fi connection.

This system works by fitting a wireless battery TRV which is then linked to the hub and given its own programme, for example all downstairs radiators can be isolation during the night so when the heating is used you aren’t needlessly heating a large proportion of the house for no reason.

The TRV’s have a 2 year battery life and provide a warning on the hub when they need replacing.

Can also be controlled via your phone.

We are now an approved installer for fitting EV car charging points under both the EVHS (Electric vehicle home charge scheme) and the WCS (Workplace charging scheme).

Meaning we can claim a government grant of up to £350 per charger installed.

The deadline for the EVHS is 31/03/2022 before the criteria to claim the grant changes, so be quick.

Further refurb works completed at the same project with all lighting controlled by Lutron homework’s.

This allows the customer to set scenes and programme the lighting to their wants and needs, such as “cooking” which is nice and bright over the kitchen island and cooker, or “relax” which dims certain lights down whilst turning others off completely.
