Been a while since I last posted any work. Here’s something I finished this week. Lots of cuts-not many whole stones on this one!

I’m on the hunt for a new labourer does anyone know anybody who might fit the criteria? (STOKE ON TRENT area) Can’t keep doing these jobs by myself I’m not getting any younger! The position would suit someone young, 18-20 years old. They need to have bags of energy! Landscaping is hard work and most materials are heavy! Someone who is hard working, RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL and most importantly wanting to learn a trade. I want this person to be able to get on the tools with me eventually, but this skill they will have to learn. It will take time, but will be worth it. Preferably someone with transport and is willing to be/go self employed. I don’t need this person until about mid March but I’m just putting the feelers out early to give me some time to find someone. Anyone that’s interested in the position, or knows somebody who would be interested-please inbox me.
It’s not an easy job sometimes it’s really hard graft. Anyone with a glass back need not apply! 😀

It’s been a while since I last posted anything on here but here’s a little something I’ve finished very recently.
I’ve had a great time doing this job. I’m so happy with the finished outcome. We were able to save the old blue bricks from the original path and we incorporated them into the new garden design, and built them into a herringbone path. The paving around the path is Kandla Grey Indian stone with Black Ice gravel and they complement the path nicely. The sandstone rocks were sourced locally.
All in all it’s been tough graft but worth EVERY minute.

It’s taken a while to finish but I’m pleased to show you my first attempt at a Japanese garden. It’s been a really interesting project and one of my favourites that I’ve done so far.

Very pleased to have finished these two pieces of paving. They’ve taken a while (what with the weather and how many cuts were involved) but they were worth it. Sometimes the smaller jobs give as much satisfaction as the bigger projects.

Very pleased with the finish of this job. This job is an extension to the job I did in summer. The side paths now link the front to the back. All the entrances are ramped up to the doors for disabled access.
Autumn Grey paving with a double cobble border and feature cobbled circle. I also replaced the existing brick on edge with red engineering brick to finish.

Very proud to show you a job I finally completed about a month ago. Kandla Grey paving with a double border of cobbles and a feature cobbled circle. Best job I’ve done so far by a mile.
