*Rant*

This is a photo of a plug top from a brand new Hisense fridge freezer delivered to my mother.

Considering we’re all supposed to be doing “our bit” for the environment, Hisense will not allow it to be changed without voiding the warranty. Even though they are fully aware it will be done by an electrician.

Meaning that another brand new fridge freezer was delivered today and all that it entails vs £1.20 for a plug top.

Before and after. A failed floodlight with ingress due to poor installation and equally poor quality.

Replaced with a collingwood floodlight and junction box, including drip loops to prevent unwanted ingress.

Some recent external lighting installed at Denstone, Stoke-On-Trent, United Kingdom

The post lights and small floodlights are controlled via a smart photocell, which allows control over switching times and automatically adjusts to daylight saving times.

The lights installed on the sides of the buildings provide illumination throughout the night allowing easy access for vehicles and some added security.
