At long last, HBF is back on the road, full rebuild completed, and she can return to being a working vehicle.

Got the front bodywork off now. Major hassle getting crankshaft front pulley off, now time to put new cambelt in, with news seals around crankshaft. Fit new water pump while its easy to get at. Front axle rebuild completed, sitting under the new chassis. Rosiedog hasn't quite mastered using the spanners yet, but I live in hope.

Found some time this weekend to do a bit more to the Series 3 rebuild. May as well rebuild the front axle, as it is of unknown mileage etc. Removing the bolts holding the swivel housing to the axle after 32 years minimum in place took a good while.

Just put the Series 3 Land Rover into the workshop to start the rebuild onto a new galvanised chassis.
