NGP was out last night to an elderly lady with no heating, no it wasn't a frozen condense pipe it was a build up of aluminium oxide inside the condense trap blocking the trap completely. Boiler was regularly serviced by a company that doesn't care.
They couldn't get out to her for 10 days !!
Good job she found me , fixed in 10 minutes and give her a massive 50% discount.
Look after your pensioners they need it more than ever.

Unvented cylinder installation, before I did this the customer had a warm vented cylinder and it trickled from the taps , shower and no heating due to a very poor installation. Three days later his shower is like a jet wash and his property nice and warm.
Another happy client = a happy plumber !

Absolutely amazed at this , this is the heating circuits pressure relief. Potentially this pipe will expel water at 80 or 90 degree water and the tank place underneath is is sitting on the insulation above the plaster board ceiling directly below is the family's toddlers cot !
