Happy new year and happy test your smoke alarms day. It’s been a busy month fitting detectors.
Replacing end of life devices with 10 year lithium battery detectors.
Stay safe everyone and do that test today. Notice the big test button on the new detectors so you can test them safely without climbing just use a brush handle or even an umbrella.

Happy December everyone, it’s check your smoke alarms day.
Please be extra careful with all the Christmas lights. It only takes a minute to test.

L D 3 is the minimum recommended requirement. One at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top.
Also a CO alarm close to your boiler.

Happy November everyone. With bonfire night and fireworks this month. It’s a good reminder to test your smoke heat and CO alarms. Your smoke alarms should be on the ceiling and 300mm away from any corner and light fitting. You should have at least one at the top and bottom of your stairs. Please don’t fit smoke alarms on walls
Don’t forget to check the expiry date smoke alarms only have a 10 year life.

Happy October the 1st again don’t forget to test your smoke heat and CO alarms and if it looks like this chances are it needs replacing.
If you see any sockets or plugs like this please call an electrician straight away and stop using the appliance.
