Another retail project completed, with works carried out outside normal working hours to minimise disruption to the store.

The scope of works included:

JD Wetherspoon, The Old Swan, Painting & Decorating

We have successfully completed internal decoration works for our client, JD Wetherspoon, at the Old Swan in Uttoxeter.

The works focused on the bar area, including surface preparation, painting and decorating, with all surrounding fixtures and fittings protected throughout to ensure a high-quality finish.

The completed decoration has transformed the bar area, giving it a fresh, clean and revitalised appearance while creating a more welcoming and attractive environment for customers.

The Old Swan pub in the centre of Uttoxeter, offering food and drinks in a historic market town setting popular with both local residents and visitors.

Amber Taverns, Last Orders, Painting & Decorating

We have recently completed internal decoration works for our client Amber Taverns at The Last Orders in Stoke-on-Trent.

The works focused on improving the appearance and visibility of the staircase, including the application of contrasting colours to the stair nosings.

Contrasting stair nosings help clearly define the edge of each step, improving visibility and reducing the risk of trips and missteps.

They are particularly important in commercial environments to support accessibility and create a safer space for staff, customers and visitors.

Ladbrokes, Leyland, Refurbishment

We’re pleased to have successfully completed this refurbishment project for our client, Ladbrokes, at their store on Hough Lane, Leyland.

The works involved a combination of painting, decoration and flooring improvements to refresh the store and enhance the overall appearance and customer environment.

The scope of work included:

✅ Spray suspended ceilings to the shop floor and areas behind the sales counter
✅ Redecorate all shop floor areas
✅ Redecorate all back-of-house areas
✅ Remove and replace existing vinyl flooring to the staff and customer toilets
✅ Supply and fit new carpet tiles to the kitchenette and office floor areas

The project was carefully planned and completed during night-time hours, allowing the works to be carried out efficiently while minimising disruption to Ladbrokes customers and normal daytime trading operations.

We’re pleased to have delivered the completed refurbishment to a high standard, leaving the store refreshed, clean and ready for continued use.

JD Wetherspoon, The Lady Chatterley, Repair & Maintenance

We have successfully completed repair and maintenance works for our client, JD Weterhspoon, at the Lady Chatterley in Nottingham.

The scope of work included high-level fascia and soffit repair works. All existing timbers were inspected, with damaged sections replaced before new timbers were primed, undercoated and gloss finished to match the existing colour.

Our IPAF qualified staff used a cherry picker to safely access the high level areas.

We have completed internal decoration for our client Jamieson Contracting at Macclesfield Railway Station.

The scope of work included passenger waiting areas and associated ancillary spaces, enhancing the overall appearance and providing a fresh, welcoming environment for passengers.

Mencap, Liverpool, Refurbishment

We have completed this refurbishment project for our client Mencap at their care home in Liverpool.

The scope of work included:

✅ Removal of existing flooring, subfloor preparation and installation of new safety vinyl flooring
✅ Installation of new thresholds and welded floor junctions
✅ Localised plaster and wall repairs, including making good damaged lining paper
✅ Full redecoration of the living room, entrance lobby and corridor, including walls, woodwork and doors

We have completed repairs and maintenance for our client JD Wetherspoon at the Gooseberry Bush in Nottingham.

The scope of work included:

✅ High-level access using a cherry picker for external maintenance works
✅ Splice repairs and redecoration of fascia boards
✅ Preparation and staining of conservatory windows to match the existing finish

The Gooseberry Bush offers a wide selection of food and drinks in a spacious, family friendly setting close to the city centre and Nottingham Trent University.

Sports Direct, Lancaster, Painting & Decorating

We have successfully completed external decoration works for our client, Sports Direct, at their store in Lancaster.

The scope of work included preparation and redecoration of the external metal store front canopy, including the application of two coats of protective metal paint.
