On Saturday 13th June, our New Build Operations Lead, Ian Rushton, joined members of the Under 8s Boys and Under 10s Girls teams from Newcastle Town Football Club to take on the challenge of climbing Snowdon in support of Young Lives vs Cancer.

Every single participant reached the summit, including the youngest climber who was just six years old!

The group’s efforts have so far raised just under £10,000 for an amazing cause, helping Young Lives vs Cancer continue their vital work supporting children and young people facing cancer, along with their families.

Join us on Thursday 16th July 2026 at Trentham Park Golf Club, Stoke-on-Trent, as we tee off at 10:30am for a day of golf, networking, entertainment and fundraising in support of our chosen charity.

The Phoenix Gas Services team had a tee-rific day at the Annual Dougie Mac Golf Day 2026!

It was a brilliant opportunity to join businesses from across the local area at Trentham Park Golf Club on Friday 15th May, all coming together to support the incredible work carried out by Dougie Mac and help raise vital funds for care across our communities.

Together, an amazing £17,353.00 was raised to help Dougie Mac continue providing hospice services to adults, young adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses across our region.

And to top off a brilliant day, we were delighted to finish in 2nd place with 81 points!

A huge thank you to the organisers, sponsors and everyone involved for hosting such a fantastic event for an incredible cause.
