Unfortunately with the price of diesel the way it is, driving round in a 20 year old Land Rover isn’t the most cost effective way of running a business.

I got a D in GCSE maths but even I can work out at 16mpg it’s not the most savvy way of getting around.

What do you all think of the new van? It’s Electric and runs mainly off solar panels (when the sunshine allows).

I’ve had a bit of fun with the graphics. Just waiting for the “pest” taxi sign for the roof.

Here’s a wasp nest from yesterday. I’m pretty good with heights, although this was a bit on the high side.

Nest treated so the scaffolders can continue.

Last year I said “never again”

Just got back from a fantastic weekend on the Isle of Man riding the Manx two day trial.

A tough National level trial spread over two days, 36 sections a day, 50 odd miles a day, and around 8 hours a day stood on a trials bike.

Thanks to Connie for holding the fort whilst I was away, and also my friends who I rode round with.

I had the best time.

“Never again” (until next year)

I was called out to a wasp nest near Beeston castle last week.

Whilst there I had a look at the bird net I fitted back in 2013.

This was one of my first jobs after leaving Rentokil & going on my own.

I’m happy to say 13 years later it’s still as good as the day it was installed.

20 years old this year.

You’d don’t see many cars of this age on the road anymore.

Although it needs a few little jobs doing, it puts a smile on my face every time I use it.

The fuel bill on the other hand…
