The last few months have been super busy with lots of the smaller jobs getting done.

Not had the camera out much to take any snaps!

We are currently taking orders for jobs in the new year 2022 and are always looking to meet new clients with exciting projects. If you have a project that you are thinking of doing give us a call to see if we can help.

Found some photos of old jobs. Lost many pictures on an old digital camera!

1st photo is just outside Tain probably 2008. It's a sandstone feature wall with Caithness slate hearth and mantle. I cut and dressed stone for the mantle supports and surround. A stove was fitted at a later date.

2nd photo was also up above Tain probably late 2009 for Roddy Robertson. Owner of Robertson's of Tain. The well was the old water supply for the farm back in the old days. Roddy being a typical farmer hoarded up bits of materials! we built it from sandstone that came from a downed shed onsite and used some old Indian sandstone paving for around it. The top of the well was actually cobbles from Tain high street renovation from 2004/2005 which I worked on when I was an apprentice! It was funny how I got re acquainted with them!

3rd photo was Fort Augustus primary school. This was a Stucco render applied over a cement board. It was a nice finish and brilliant to do. We were sub contractors for Macgreggor construction on this job. Mid February if I remember, I'll never forget the rain and wind!

A couple of pictures of natural stone walling on a new build in Muir of Ord. Still need to get some finished pictures. All the stone was sourced from a local quarry and built with a traditional lime mortar. Nice stone finishes the outside of a nice property. Nice job to do as we just fitted it in around our other work. Graeme Matheson

Not had any posts up in a while. It's been a weird year! We have just been pushing on with what we can get done.

All aspects of construction undertaken by qualified tradesmen. Fully insured and offering reliable, friendly service backed up with quality workmanship. 13 years established this year we have built up a large customer base with many returning customers. Hopefully you all had a nice Christmas. With the new year nearly here it will soon be time to get back to normal and start planning those projects you want done, whether it be a new patio for summer BBQ's or a new home. All aspects of construction undertaken.

Not had the camera out in a while but here is a nice natural stone feature panel which will have a stove infront of it. The material is a stone cladding which is quarried in France. It's nice to take a bit of the outdoors inside very natural and a better choice than the man made products out there. Hopefully get back to get a picture when it's all done. Another nice paving job completed today in Contin. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the sun (when it shows!). Good amount of work went into getting this one done. Have a look at the Album for the full progress pictures. All our paving is laid on the correct bed of mortar, which is on compacted hardcore as per manufacturers recommendations. Give us a call if you have a project in mind. We offer free design and quotation and can work to all budgets. 2nd picture is before works commenced.

Our Story

We are an established general building contractor who undertake all aspects of the building trade. We specialise in brick, block & stonework, groundwork's, roughcasting, paving etc. We also undertake full builds from garages to new build homes supplying all the necessary trades, throughout the Highlands & Islands. No job is too small or large. Customer satisfaction is always of paramount importance, that's why we always offer a personal, friendly service, backed up with quality workmanship.

Since 2007 we have been supplying our services across the highlands & Islands with dozens of happy customers. Our services include:

BRICK/BLOCK LAYING. This is our specialist trade. We undertake new builds, renovations and extensions etc from foundations, to super structure. We also build sheds/workshops, garages, retaining walls, pillars, garden walls - no job is too small.

RENDERING. We offer external plastering and roughcasting, both wet and dry dash finishes. Also, due to a changing industry, we offer acrylic rendering. This is a silicone based render system proven to be flexible and breathable which can withstand all seasons. Over 100 colours are available.
