A recent job for a customer involved upgrading the boiler to an A rated Worcester Bosch condensing boiler helping save money on the gas bills 🔥

Also, upgrading the hot water storage cylinder to a newer, bigger, more efficient one allows for more hot water to be stored and staying hot for longer 🛁

A magnetic sludge filter was fitted above the boiler to help prolong its life by preventing sludge from entering the heat exchanger. Hive smart controls were also fitted to control the temperature of the home using either the thermostat or a smart device 📱

As well as the new boiler and cylinder the customer had bought designer radiators which were made to order, and designer thermostatic radiator valves on each one adding more control to each room and a very modern and stylish look.

All in all, a smart way to upgrade your home’s heating and hot water solutions.

🚰 We’re getting lots of requests for outdoor taps at the moment, which isn’t surprising with the glorious weather we’re having ☀️

Yesterday we fitted a tap for Emily in Wells, who sent us this photo of her boys, who just couldn’t wait to start a water fight 💦

Here's a shower enclosure that's recently been finished.
It started with a little 600x600 shower tray in what used to be the airing cupboard, the customer wanted a bigger space for showering and the existing area had started leaking through to downstairs.
After removing the old tray and screen two new stud walls needed to be built and plasterboard put up.
Once built, a much bigger tray went in, 1200x700. After the customer had tiled the enclosure the new bar shower mixer could be fitted along with the 1200 sliding door and screen and then finished off with silicone to seal the tray and internal corners.

Some before and after photos of a bathroom installation in Nailsea last week. The bath was removed and replaced with a toilet and sink unit, and we removed an old airing cupboard to provide space for a walk in shower.
