We have had our struggles with pests this year šŸ¤Æ but if Iā€™m one thing itā€™s definitely determined and giving up doesnā€™t come easily. Everythingā€™s had a good spray so hopefully we can get on top of the pestsā€¦

Dounby show 2026 over and outā€¦. Always learning always growing and forever grateful for the all involved in organising and carrying out the horticultural show.

Itā€™s show timeā€¦.. hereā€™s a summary of what I managed to grow and pull together for the show. Admittedly the greenhouse was very much neglected in the lead up to the show as I spent hours baking and preserve makingā€¦. However I was pleased at what I managed to salvage.

The suns shining and everything seems to be growing well :) spent a few hours tickling trombonchinos and tying up tomatoā€™s šŸ˜‚.

With laura and the boys on holiday itā€™s been all hands on deckā€¦. šŸ˜‚ who am I kidding but I did nip up once and give everything a check and a water. Normal service will resume when the slaters returnā€¦..
