JOB OPPORTUNITY
D I Woodworx ltd is a small, family run business in Dorset. We have built up a successful reputation over the past 10 years and therefore due to workload we are seeking a skilled, experienced, bench joiner to join our team.
Successful applicants will preferably have 5 years experience and be competent in producing high quality, bespoke products ranging from windows, doors, staircases, kitchens, wardrobes and more. Everything we make is kept in house, from designing, producing to spraying, glazing, finishing and fitting. We are looking for someone who can help with the onsite installation of the products made, as well as spraying. Training for spraying can be provided for the right candidate.
Essential skills:
· Can make a range of products to a very high standard
· Can safely use a range of machinery
· Can follow plans and drawings
· Has initiative and can work independently
· Has an eye for details and has pride in their work
· Has respect for others, works well in a team
· Has some site experience
· Is reliable, honest and good at time keeping
· Can work to deadlines whilst maintaining precision
· City and Guild or NVQ qualification preferred but experience and workmanship most important
· Good working attitude, good sense of humour
Hours and pay negotiable dependent on experience. Driving license required. Workshop is based just outside Sturminster Newton. Immediate start available.
