Proud to be supporting a fantastic adventure, follow Gazelles Offroad Team to keep track on their amazing adventures!

As we get closer and closer to Dakar, we are pleased to welcome new supporters and partners to our adventure team. Some are large organisations, others are smaller local businesses known personally to either Marcella or myself. We value each and every one, and they will have their place on Purdey and be listed on our Dakar team page. Today we put RJ Auto Electricals and TM Pearson into the spotlight.

It's been a while since we've posted thats for sure. Things have been going brilliant here at RJ's Auto Electrical. In the past 12 months we have been working hard to secure service contracts with various major manufacturers, which is a testament to the hard work we have put in to providing the best possible service to our customers. We have improved on diagnostics equipment and also joined forces on bigger jobs with other local family run businesses to provide the best possible service. Here's to the future and a little insight of the potential modernization of our logos/branding.

Out and about earlier this week for our customer in Stanstead Essex for one of their E200MMC's. Vehicle was reported as intermittent gear warning and no gear selection. We attended site after being recommended by Voith and swiftly found this nasty harness damage in behind the dashboard. All soldered & repaired with vehicle now selecting gears and driving correctly.
Another happy new customer after being let down by previous companies trying to fix the fault.

What a year it has been! 1 year ago we decided to take the plunge and start up our little business which has grown from strength to strength.
Carrying the latest diagnostic equipment has allowed us to support our customers and also some of the biggest manufacturers in the bus and coach industry.

None of it would be possible without the support of our fantastic customers. We are extremely thankful for your custom and hope to continue supporting you.

What's next for RJ's Auto Electrical...

This year we hope to forward our support in the bus and coach industry by investing and training in the latest technology. The coming weeks see us further training to complete our IMI Level 4 in EV & HV systems along with finalising our investment in full wabco diagnostics. We have also now completed our step into next stop announcement installations, this allows us to supply and fit the systems upgrading your vehicle in line with the latest PSVAR regulations.

We have also invested in full diagnostics system for Intellitec MV systems which allow us to programme and diagnose systems accurately but also make changes to the software for vehicle modifications.

We are proud to have supported The Big Bus Show again this year and having our very own page in the magazine!

Little job from last week showing the importance of carrying our your checks accurately.
Customer reporting vehicle running lumpy and engine knocking. Using Cummins insite Pro diagnostics it allowed us to check live data and fault codes pointing us towards erratic fuel pressure. After carrying out full checks on the wiring for the fuel system it showed the fuel metering valve was high resistance, broken wire found and repaired gave us the correct figures and the vehicle was back out earning in no time 👍
