On sunday, Team Contact took part in Cancer Research Uk’s Pretty Muddy 5k 🏃‍♀️🩷🏃‍♂️

This year, we proudly took part in the Muddy 5K in memory of David Clark Senior, the founder of Contact Roofing Ltd. David was a much-loved family man, friend and colleague who remains close in our hearts every day. Sadly, he lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2019, but his memory continues to inspire us. Taking part in this event was our way of honouring David while supporting the incredible work of Cancer Research UK. Charities like Cancer Research UK are so important because they fund life-saving research, provide hope for families affected by cancer, and help bring us closer to a future where fewer people have to experience the loss of a loved one to this devastating disease. 💜

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading independent cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. The organisation funds scientists, doctors and nurses to help prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, leading to major breakthroughs that have improved survival rates. Cancer Research UK also supports people affected by cancer by providing trusted information, guidance and resources for patients and their families. Their cause is so important because cancer affects millions of people, and the charity’s work helps bring hope, better treatments and the possibility of a future where more people can live longer, healthier lives. 🩷

Wow what a great start to the morning,

Some of the Contact Crew took on this morning!💙

Despite the heat, everybody did absolutely amazing with a pint for breakfast, ice cream first thing in the morning and a fun time in the arcades!!

parkrun is a free, weekly 5K event where people of all ages and abilities can walk, jog, run, volunteer, and come together as a community.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was brilliant seeing everyone cheering each other on 🧡💙

We all had a fantastic day out of office for our team building day. It was filled with fresh ideas, valuable insights, and great communication.

It was inspiring to explore new perspectives together, strengthen our teamwork, and learn new information along the way. Looking forward to putting these ideas into action as a stronger team.
