We're Hiring | Electrical Supervisor

📍 Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey (with travel to project sites across London and the South East)

Due to continued business growth and an increasing workload, Surrey Tech Services Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing electrical and fire contractor, delivering high-quality commercial projects across London and the South East.

The Role:

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical installations from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors on site.
▪️ Planning and coordinating daily works.
▪️ Ensuring all installations comply with current regulations and project specifications.
▪️ Carrying out site inspections and quality checks.
▪️ Liaising with project managers, clients and other trades.
▪️ Managing materials, plant and site resources.
▪️ Monitoring programme progress and reporting on site activities.
▪️ Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
▪️ Assisting with commissioning, testing and project handovers.
▪️ Supporting apprentices and junior electricians with their development.

What We're Looking For:

▪️ Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, or an Approved Electrician looking to step up.
▪️ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
▪️ ECS Gold Card (Supervisor Card desirable).
▪️ SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
▪️ Full UK Driving Licence.
▪️ Strong communication and organisational skills.
▪️ Ability to work independently while leading a team.
▪️ A positive, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

🕒 Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Surrey Tech Services Ltd is a growing electrical and fire contractor providing projects and maintenance services across London and the South East. We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Service Coordinator / Service Administrator to join our expanding team.

This is a varied office-based role supporting our Fire Division, coordinating engineers, liaising with customers and helping to ensure our service department runs efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

▪️ Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance visits
▪️ Managing engineers' schedules and daily diaries
▪️ Preparing service reports, certificates and quotations
▪️ Supporting planned maintenance agreements and contract renewals
▪️ Ordering materials and liaising with engineers
▪️ Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
▪️ Maintaining accurate records and providing general administrative support
We're looking for someone with:
▪️ Excellent organisational and communication skills
▪️ A positive attitude and willingness to learn
▪️ Good Microsoft Office skills
▪️ Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads
▪️Previous administration, customer service or scheduling experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
