Finished this last week lots of shapes up and down valleys, full resitrix flat roof and the first 3 in 1 velux I’ve fit in 26 year of roofing pretty cool if you ask me onto the next one 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Back to the traditional side of roofing on Friday. These have been rebeded on with a wet mix because this roof can not have a dry system fitted. Let me explain why these ridge tiles are at least 50mm wider than your new ridge, now this means no system will fit and if you change all the ridge you lose the headlap of the ridge on the tiles, which is also a massive NO as it will cause water regression and as you’d guess it will cause water to run in, resulting in a new roof.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ please stop getting these cowboys I could write on a stamp what at least 75% of roofers no in Sunderland

Couple of things to watch out for today

⭐️⭐️⭐️ if a roofer is willing to come out and do a job in this 70mph wind he is not a roofer and you’ll have to get he’s work done again next week

⭐️⭐️⭐️if anyone is coming out for emergency call outs this means they are not roofers and are seeing an opportunity to take your money which will result in you needing a roofer to redo the mess they cause

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I know it’s worrying if something blows off your roof but please don’t get these cowboys who will come out today as it will cost double in the long run

Just few things to watch out for as a customer

⭐️⭐️⭐️ if a roofer can’t tell you the problem your roof has before repairing it he isn’t a roofer

⭐️⭐️⭐️ if a salesmen knocks on your door talking about you need a full roof then please ask him to leave and get advise from the roofer who would actually complete your roof

⭐️⭐️⭐️ if companies are giving January deals it’s because there not busy at all and will mostly definitely be cutting corners on materials so stay away from these companies

Please share and get the word out as far to many people are getting scammed these days

Just a few things to watch out for as a customer

⭐️⭐️⭐️ no cement work should be done below 3 degrees if done it will 100% not work and you’ve tossed your money away

⭐️⭐️⭐️ no flat roof should be done (unless pour and roll) in this temperature as it does not take and your tossing your money away

⭐️⭐️⭐️ only real roofers will advise you on what’s best if you don’t listen and just need the job done then take it on the chin it’s your own fault

Nice rubber roof complete today the lady on this property was so lovely giving us cake at dinnertime and drinks then a pack lunch to take home it’s the little things that count the most
