Old sliding sashes in these box windows been painted up for years. Bottom sash removed, cleaned up, new chords and pulleys fitted, reweighted and refitted into frames with new draughtproof beads fitted. Back to working exactly as it should

Sliding sash not staying open under its own weight. Broken spring balances causing the issue. Both replaced and window now operating as it should
