We are hiring!

Simon West Interiors Ltd are looking for an experienced time served Bench Joiner to join their team in Hendon, Sunderland.

Duties will include:

Manufacturing high quality shop fitting items in a busy workshop
Working from drawings
Working on own initiative and as part of a team
General Factory duties will also be required
The ideal Candidate should have the following;

Candidates must have experience in bench and site joinery and have experience using wood working machinery. NVQ2 or higher in appropriate qualifications.
Current CSCS card preferred and driving license
Experience in softwood, hardwood, laminating (using Formica, Polyrey etc).
Experience working on a panel saw, spindle moulder, planner and edgebander and also hand held power tools including routers
Experience working in solid surfaces (Corian etc) would be advantages
Capable of working to a high Standard
Able to work independently with an ability to work from technical drawings
You may be required to work on site and work overtime as required.
This is a permanent position working 39 hours per week and the working day is between 8.00 – 4.30pm with an finish time of 3.30pm on Friday (times may vary subject to work requirements)
Experience:

Joinery: 3 years
Bench Joinery: 3 year
