Successful completion of a laminate flooring fit throughout the ground floor of this property. Swapping out the previous floor that was damaged, for this simply stunning High Gloss Grey Marble effect laminate, which on a first glance looks like real marble tiles!

Seamlessly joined through each room for a continuous high-end aesthetic. This is definitely my favourite flooring of the year so far.

Completion of a small window restoration from earlier this week. Removing the whole of the rotten sill and treating any soft wood at the base of the frame that could be saved, then fitting a full new sill and glazing bead, ready for the painter to make the full window look brand new again, (I left the cobwebs for him to remove 🕷️)

Completion of the replacement of a rotten section of kitchen floor, caused by a dripping dishwasher waste pipe, that had went unnoticed for over 5 months and was only identified by a developing foul smell.

Taken all the way back to the joists, requiring a new section of structural subfloor and then a plywood underlayment on top of that, ready for a new final floor covering to be laid on top.

This emphasises the importance of identifying and fixing any drips from pipes in good time.

Replacement of these rotten outbuilding doors with new L&B doors is now complete, with a small splice repair to the base of one of the frame legs, which was also rotten. Keeping the contents of the building secure and dry for the coming winter months ✅
