All work undertaken from the smallest repair to full roofs. We cover the entire north east and further for the right jobs.

Week 3 on this property and it’s all been about the chimneys. Reducing the size, adding clay tiles to form a drip edge, new flaunching, and repointing everything that could only be repointed from the scaffold. There’s a bit more pointing work to get on with but that can wait until next week. Most of the prep is done and slating will start soon. Next week the solar lads are out to do their bit and we’ll be back the week after.

Second week on the job. Fully insulated, battened and felted, three chimneys reduced and the site cleaned up.

What a week on the tools. Happy to get the back stripped and battened up for the weekend. The weather has tested us all week. The forecast was terrible and the actual weather wasn’t much better. Chubby rain, high winds, then a day of sun/ wind. I’m having a nice weekend off then back into it on Monday.
