SPG Construction LTD We undertake new driveway installations, paving and garden patio work and we are an approved contractor for vehicle dropped kerbs.

We can design, supply and install custom driveways in Nottingham and the surrounding areas including Mansfield, Southwell, Newark and Nottingham. Our pictures don’t do this patio area justice, here we were asked to take out an old section of fencing, build some feature steps up to a raised lawn area and lay the patio. The step treads are laid with Kandla Grey Porcelain Cobbles. The step risers and curved wall are covered with Natural Quartz Wall Cladding in Cloudy Grey colour. The main paving is 900x600mm Porcelain in Smoke Grey colour and is cut to precision to fit into new recessed Manhole Covers. All the paving and cladding is supplied by Paving Stones Direct and finished off with decorative Gravel in Black Ice supplied by Midland Landfill.

🚨COMPOSITE FENCING 🚨
A new style of composite fencing for this project. This fencing is from the Charles & Ivy “fusion” range. Our customer chose to have the system fitted to a concrete base, so the team had to ensure the base was perfectly level and had to tie in to the height of his gate which was already in place. The posts were secured in place using fittings also supplied by Charles & Ivy. Here we have fitted the fencing, pedestrian gate, the “ Halo” style lighting and the matching bin store. The colour of the fencing is Teak with black aluminium posts and surround all from their “fusion” range

Here’s another before, during and after back garden project. Our remit here from the customer was to keep a large portion of the decking but create a low maintenance modern useful space which linked to the summer house for access in all weather. We cloaked the bottom of the fence on the right with new treated timber sleepers, created two artificial lawn areas with tumbled sett borders then porcelain paths and a seating area using Kandla Grey 900x600 which also have the same tumbled sett borders. Both the artificial lawn and porcelain paving were supplied by Paving Stones Direct.

Even the miserable wet windy weather did not stop this transformation. The before and after pictures show the task we had. We built the sleeper planters, harbour/pergola and of course laid the porcelain paving.
The sleepers were from Rainworth Fencing
The harbour was from Derby Garden Centre
The porcelain paving in Grigio Grey from Paving Stones Direct and the customer had purchased and sourced their own artificial grass. The soft landscape planting was by Ulyett Landscapes.

A smaller but perfectly formed patio in Kandla Grey Porcelain 900 x 600mm Paving. Clean lines, neat edges and a complete transformation on this back garden , in the warmer months this will be garden envy.
The paving is sourced from Paving Stones Direct.
