A week of returning customers this week! After replacing the outdated edgings recently, our customer has got in contact again to see if we could come back and replace the gravel with a darker shade.
So it was out with the old and in with the new! We dug out the old gravel, ripped up the old membrane and replaced with a fresh membrane and then leveled a tonne of gravel to finish the front off. It really has brought the front garden to life and its great to be asked back for another job.

3rd times a charm they say! Back again to our loyal customer for a third visit.
They had a concern that the bushes were dying on the front and upon inspection, it was actually being eaten by a box moth caterpillar infestation!
Unfortunately, the shrubs were too far gone to save, so we came up with a solution of completely removing the shrubs and at the same time replacing the old slabbed path with the extra slabs left over from the back patio...

Its amazing how such a small change, can change the appearance of a garden! Really happy how this has turned out!

A simple front garden transformation yesterday, changing the outdated edgings to more modern raised blocks. This will help to keep the stones off the path, ensuring a low maintenance garden. We also added a step for increased accessibility for the clients elderly father as requested. Jobs like this show that even small changes make a big difference!

Wow, did not think today was going to come to an end! But we got there...💨💪

Manhole dug around and dropped
Patio 1 and 2 all finished ✅️
Raised flower bed, finished ✅️
raised boarder for Patio 1, finished ✅️
Step, Finished ✅️
new gate, installed and finished ✅️
and the most important part, the basket ball hoop!

Today was a real push and generally did not think we would get to the finish line today but the lads and myself put the graft in and we got there!

Clients happy and so that means we are too! 👌

Our current project, and its back to our lovely repeat customer, this time for a garden transformation! Read on for details 😁

We began by removing and replacing both patios (digging down for a 150mm sub-base on both), extending both by 2m and adding a radius to Patio 1 as well as lowering to one level from 2. Next, a border was dug around the pre-exisiting tree, a w**d barrier was added and gravel laid for effect. 🌳
Two old, snapped fence posts have been removed and replaced, the sump unit for the outside tap has been dropped and 1 out of 2 raised beds have been built and installed -- not bad for 2 days' work and 32sqm all hand dug! 🥵

We're back again at the weekend to finish off and drop the manhole & 3 external drainage from the down pipe and kitchen sink, and add a step from the back door to patio 1, which will also have a border. Raised bed no.2 will be built and installed, a kickboard along the driveway will be replaced, a new gate will be hung, grouting will be finished and most importantly, a basketball hoop to be affixed to the garage! 🏀
