Staff Wanted

Climber

We are looking for a full time or subcontract climber to come help a busy tree surgery business.

- Must have a minimum of 3 years climbing experience and must be confident with all aspects of tree surgery such as;
- Hedge trimming
- Dismantling trees of all sizes
- Rigging
- Crown reductions
- Maintenance of the chainsaws

They must be willing to learn to operate machines such as:
- Stump grinders,
- Avant loader,
- Excavators with attachments,
- Log splitters and processors

A driving licence is essential due to the location of our yard.

Our work is a mixture of private and commercial so no two days are the same.

Extra training and qualifications will be provided for the right person who shows motivation and commitment.

Wages are negotiated on experience and workmanship.

Staff Wanted

Groundsman

We are looking for a full time experienced/qualified groundsman to join our team. We are looking for a polite and punctual individual.

The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications CS30, CS31 and wood chipper certificate, anything extra is a bonus.

They must be able to carry out general groundsman duties such as:
- Hedge trimming & topping (unsupervised),
- Rigging and keeping the ropes tidy at all times,
- Competent in use of chainsaws
- Sharpening the chainsaws,
- Helping out with the general maintenance of the machines,
- Good quality clean up and workmanship.

They must be willing to learn to operate machines such as:
- Stump grinders,
- Avant loader,
- Excavators with attachments,
- Log splitters and processors.

A driving licence is essential due to the location of our yard.

Our work is a mixture of private and commercial so no two days are the same.

Extra training and qualifications will be provided for the right person who shows motivation and commitment.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and has a good work ethic.

Removal of a large conifer in Walsall

The owner was concerned about the safety of the tree after all the high winds.

Unfortunately for this particular owner she did not check the ‘Door Knockers’ insurance or qualifications which lead to them taking a few branches away and expecting a substantial payment for this work and not coming back to complete the job.

We can not stress enough how important it is to find a reputable company who are fully insured, fully qualified with plenty of experience.

Emergency call out completed by Treewise Tree Services.

Due to high winds this large willow tree fell on the house and had to be removed.

Luckily no one was hurt, the house roof only suffered a few small holes and there was no damage to the power/telephone lines nearby.
