We have been supplying and installing quite a lot of PIV Fans lately, here’s a few things that PIV fans actually do:-

Air intake: A PIV unit is usually installed in a loft, but can also be installed in external walls. The unit draws in fresh air from outside.

Air filtration: The air is filtered to remove pollutants like pollen and traffic fumes.

Air distribution: The filtered air is diffused around the home at ceiling level.

Air pressure: The fresh air creates positive pressure in the home, forcing stale air out through natural leakage points like windows, doors, and keyholes.

Air quality: The fresh air improves indoor air quality by replacing air with pollutants like carbon dioxide.

PIV systems can help with condensation and mold issues by removing excess moisture and humidity. They can also help save money on heating costs by recirculating warm air. PIV systems are generally cheaper to run than dehumidifiers or air conditioners.
