An impactful piece for in Blidworth ⛏

VIY work with young people, helping them to develop trade skills, whilst renovating community spaces. The hall in Blidworth was built by miners and is still used at a community centre. So to honour the miners and the local area Phil went up to create this mural.

As well as painting the mural, we got the young people involved and they were given time to learn the basics of spray painting! A great team effort all round!

A great couple of days working with Students of Swansea University creating a mural on the Singleton Campus.

The students put together ideas around diversity and inclusivity and Artist Alex combined these designs into a mural that the students helped paint. Great team work all round!

Community involvement at Swansea Mosque, St Helens! Madrasah students came up with designs relating to the mosque and their faith. Artist Alex then designed two pieces from these designs and facilitated a painting workshop for 282 participants!
