Large crack caused by oak lintel failure years ago. Solution, remove stone either side & behind crack, use larger stones to bridge crack & rebuild the area around using hot lime mix. Simple & traditional repairs are always better than introducing a chemical or steel fixing into a lime built building, they take longer but are always the best option
