We’re delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for the comprehensive transformation and extension of this beautiful home on Gower.

The approved scheme reimagines the property with a striking contemporary rear elevation, incorporating expansive glazing, a first-floor balcony and enhanced outdoor living spaces designed to maximise natural light and strengthen the connection between the home and its surroundings.

Carefully balancing modern architectural interventions with the character of the existing dwelling, the proposal delivers a significant increase in living accommodation while creating bright, flexible spaces tailored to modern family life.

As the project progresses, we are working closely with our clients and our friends at Number 8 Project, collaboratively developing the interior design, finishes, kitchen and bathroom spaces to ensure every aspect of the home is considered in detail and delivers the very best outcome for our clients.

We are delighted to welcome Peter Brodbelt to Green’s as Senior Architect and Head of Design.

Peter joins us as a fully Chartered Architect, accredited by both RIBA and ARB, bringing with him over 30 years of distinguished experience within the Architecture industry. His appointment marks a significant strengthening of our in-house Design & Build capability.

Prior to joining Green’s, Peter spent more than two decades at Roderick James Architects, where he established a reputation for thoughtful, enduring design.

Over the past five years, we have had the privilege of working closely with Peter on the design and delivery of a number of exceptional projects across Gower, a collaboration that has been both seamless and highly successful.

In his role as Head of Design, Peter will play a significant role in our construction division, while also contributing his depth of knowledge and refined design sensibility to our interiors, joinery, and bathroom teams.
