Tonight we welcomed cubs to our head office the cubs learned about different types of equipment that can help people with disability’s in everyday life from toilet seats to stairlifts, passenger lifts and hoists. This is towards the disability awareness badge the cubs have been working on and we were happy to have them at our office and showroom to help them with this badge

Lift Engineer required. An established provider of both Passenger and Goods Lifts to customers across the UK.
Swansea Lift Repair & Service Ltd is a family business of skilled lift engineers with over 50 years of experience developing innovative lift designs. We are passionate about our industry and committed to customer care.
Due to continued growth and success they are currently looking to recruit a Lift Engineer to be responsible for attending customer sites across South East and Wales, West Wales the for both planned maintenance, breakdown and service works.

Lift Engineer – Wales Position Overview

Attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work
Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
Provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers to maximise the first time fix rate
Undertake refurbishment, installation and replacement of lifts in a range of locations including commercial offices, shopping centres and private establishments
Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company
Participation Call out rota
Travelling throughout the coverage area

Lift Engineer - Position Requirements

Qualified in Lift Engineering
Previous experience within a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
Relevant qualifications for the position e.g. City & Guilds etc
Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either / both Passenger and Goods lifts
Self-motivated, reliable and organised
Full (clean) UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
You will need to participate in a call out rota
Based in or around Swansea

Lift Engineer - Position Remuneration
Salary £TBC / DOE
Monday to Friday - 40 hour week + call out
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Overtime available

Current new Lift Installation Projects -


New glass lift installation on an existing residential property. This lift was required so that the current residents of the house will not need to move once they get older as the house is on three floors. This lift was designed using glass to make the most of the open views of the field next to the property. The pictures below show the lift from different stages of the installation process. More pictures will be added further on in installation
