🚨 We’re Hiring – 2 Firestopper/improvers 🚨

Due to continued growth, Paramount Interiors is looking for 2 Firestopper/improvers to join our team.

We’re looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who are keen to learn and build a career within the passive fire protection industry. Previous Firestopping experience is not required, all though preferred, as training and support will be provided.

Requirements:
✔ Valid CSCS card (essential)
✔ Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
✔ Ability to work well as part of a team
✔ Own transport strongly preferred

📢 Project Win | Badocks Wood Academy

We're pleased to announce the award of passive fire protection works at Badocks Wood Academy, a vibrant and inclusive school located in Southmead.

This project also marks the start of a new working relationship with the Bristol division of Beard Construction, and we look forward to delivering a successful project together.

Our scope includes:

▪️ Firestopping to two newly constructed extensions and loft areas using Quelfire systems
▪️ Installation of Tenmat VFB Plus cavity barriers
▪️ Installation of Siderise EW-CB30 cavity barriers

Education projects play a vital role in supporting local communities, and we're proud to be contributing to the creation of safe, compliant learning environments.

Yesterday evening, we had the pleasure of attending Willmott Dixon construction annual supply chain event in London, where we were honoured to receive a Quality Excellence Award.

This award is a testament to the dedication, attention to detail and commitment to quality shown by our teams on every project. From our site operatives and supervisors through to our management team, everyone plays a part in ensuring we deliver the highest standards for our clients.

What makes this recognition even more special is that it coincides with Paramount Interiors' 17th birthday. 🎂

We're pleased to have secured three new projects in Shrivenham, covering accommodation refurbishment, healthcare facilities and a new gym development.

Our combined scope includes:

▪️ Internal drylined walls, linings and ceilings
▪️ Grid suspended ceilings
▪️ High-level shaft walls
▪️ Tape and joint finishes
▪️ Plaster finishes
▪️ Passive fire protection throughout

Working with industry-leading systems and manufacturers including:

▪️ British Gypsum
▪️ Quelfire
▪️ Firefly
▪️ Ecophon

With project durations ranging from 3 to 18 months, these schemes represent a significant programme of work for the Paramount team and further strengthen our presence in the region.

🚧 Firestopping Project – Nearing Completion
We’re pleased to be approaching completion on a key firestopping project in Oxfordshire, delivered in partnership with .construct

Project highlights:
▪️ Installation of Firefly Titan Lite 120:60 (152 linear metres)
▪️ Pe*******on sealing using Quelfire systems
▪️ Plant supplied by Empire Hire Group

A big thank you to Curtis Kirk at Empire Hire Group for the continued support throughout the project.

The client’s priority from day one has been clear — deliver within programme without compromising on quality. We’re proud to say we’re on track to achieve this, with completion expected on schedule, if not slightly ahead.

Quality has been exceptional across the board, with inspections carried out by our in-house Fire Protection Manager, FIRAS, and the project Architect.
A special mention to the team on site, led by Lewis Gibbs, with support from Carl Hughes, for maintaining such high standards throughout. 👏

Swindon Health Hydro is a specialist community health and wellbeing facility, providing hydrotherapy services, swimming facilities, fitness spaces, and treatment areas to support rehabilitation, recovery, and inclusive access to health services. The center plays a vital role in promoting physical wellbeing for people of all ages and abilities across the local community.

In our line of work, health and safety isn’t just a box-ticking exercise. Having the right training means our people are better prepared, more confident, and able to look out for one another on site if the unexpected happens.

Last week, 12 of our team members — a mix of employed staff and trusted subcontractors — successfully completed their Emergency First Aid at Work.

A big thank you to Safe Haven Training Ltd for delivering a clear, practical, and engaging course — and well done to everyone who took part.
