Due to a number of recently acquired large contracts being awarded to Abbey Scaffolding by the MOD and ongoing projects, we are looking to employ Advanced Scaffolders, Part 2 Scaffolders and Part 1 Scaffolders for immediate starts for long runs of work.
The successful candidate would be required to complete security clearance. This is something our office team would assist with.
Operating from Royal Wootton Bassett near Swindon, we cover the South of England.
Regular opportunities of over time.
Must have a Valid CISRS Card.
Driving license is preferable
Rates of pay are dependent on experience, please call 01793 480347 for an informal chat.

Following on from our highly successful project on St George’s church in Bulford, we have been awarded the next project in the MOD’s re-roofing scheme on churches across Salisbury plain.

Works include a full free-standing access scaffold providing access to all elevations including the turret and a full dual pitch system temporary roof.

Thanks to design solutions for the pre design visit whilst we set the wheels in motion for a September start.

Toolbox talks. A tick exercise, or a practical talk?

At Abbey Scaffolding we believe that a toolbox talk should be just that, a toolbox talk engaging with employees on the subject in question, and this week it was on the safe loading of vehicles following NASC guidance SG30:25.

Practical demonstrations were given to all employees on the use of banding equipment, to ensure that everyone has a full understanding in the requirements that are expected of them.

A massive well done to Martin currently working on our project in Shrivenham for Beard who has won the Operative of the Month award.

Always nice to hear such positive feedback for the hard work our guys produce on a day to day basis!

*PROJECT UPDATE*

If you’ve been to the Designer Outlet in Swindon over the past few months it would have been hard not to notice our trade mark Orange Scaffolding lining Rodbourne Road, over the last week our team have been working tirelessly through the night to dismantle the first phase of works ensuring minimal disruption to the Centre during the busy days.

Massive well done to Jon Tabel and his team!

The end to this phase of works, marks the start of a new exciting phase of works so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
