Got a spare hour before getting the kids, so I've hit the gym for some mental wellbeing 🫶🏽 I do believe this helps me with my job, physically of course but also mentally as I have so much going on with home life with kids and then work is just insane but so rewarding too that I need some of me time, so gym it is, wish it was a spa everyday but here we are 😂

⚡ Added two new sockets to a bedroom this morning..
Lifted the carpet, floorboards and chased in the wall, all with VERY minimal movement to the skirting boards. All being fed through from the consumer unit below through the pantry and across. A little bit of fishing was done but I got there 🎣 ⚡
Client was happy to finally be decorating the rest of the bedroom to finish off!

⚡️ Its been a sweaty BH Sunday morning in a loft prepping for one of my plumbers with a new bathroom reno. But I am done, and i am actually done for the next 5 days too as going away for some much needed time off after a few heavy months of long days.
I will still be contactable but not physically at work until Saturday next week.

Before and after.
Moved 5 lots of switches into their internal walls this week to allow all bedrooms to have their own independent switches in the bedrooms instead of outside of it.
This is a super old property, so the walls just crumbled as I took the old back boxes out as they were protruding and ugly, but after some care and sanding down, the outcomes have been great!
Its true what they say, prep the work and you'll be rewarded with a much better finish. These areas are ready for the painter to do it's magic now. Still continuing to add sockets around the house and bedrooms, along with some wall lights. So I'll share them when they're done 😍

My week has started with finishing this sports room with new dimmable down lights, media wall with LED strip lights and power supply for TV, speakers and fire place. Looks good, excited to see decor finished!
