We did it.. managed to get in for new year. Few finishing touches but in amd ready to start settling in. Good luck to all for 2023

365 DAYS...... WOW its been a whole year since we got the keys, added an upstairs when it wasn't on the original plan , ups and downs . Things not going to plan,lots of tradesmen. learning the whole time and working our absolute asses off to get it right. And we are almost there..carpets next week and removal guys bringing our storage stuff back.... few finishing touches to complete over the next few weeks for the move in over Xmas and in 100% new year.

Some times you just have to have ago, had an idea and just went for it. Still needs pointing in with a light cement. Get some patterned tiles on the base and sort the back out and finish off with oak mantle. Farm house slips go nicely with the wall colour.

First stage of prep for the kitchen floor area. Looking forward to finished product with the LVT..
Then get the kitchen finally finished and worktops on...

Is it your turn to have the family over for Christmas but haven't decorated for a few years now, Get booked in before the panic sets in a 2 weeks before the big day.
The amount of calls I get first week in December asking for jobs before Christmas day.
Taking bookings for October,get in now before its to late.

Taking up the carpets in the old porch today and ripping off the old ply wood from the walls to find a little gem of a tile. The Terrazzo tile. Strange as I have noticed these tiles have made a real come back and can be found in lots of colours and design.

Will be looking to either leave clean these up and leave them down and work around them or get them up and re-use them some how

Some proper pics today instead of seeing my face. Latest kitchen unit paint job. Looking absolutely mint. This was a real mess before I started and now it looks like it came straight from a neptune kitchen showroom. Cracking colour of coastal
Fog. Thanks to Absolute carpentry for all the dismantle, refit and joinery bits in between.
