This week I was called out to investigate a flickering lamp in an elderly gentleman’s home. He didn’t realise that he was overloading an extension lead by using an electric heater alongside other devices.

We met artist Ben Wilson aka chewing gum man on the Millennium Bridge at the weekend. He creates colourful, miniature works of art on discarded chewing gum in order to draw attention to the littering, and to improve it. Next time you are walking along that bridge look down, you’ll see hundreds! Mt daughter spotted the miniature art works; I’d have missed them entirely !
Interesting point: Ben told us he was taken to court by City of London for graffiti-ing. But they lost the case as he is not putting paint on the bridge, it is purely on the chewing gum.

This poor kitten needs his leg amputated as he’d had the break for too long before he was rescued by Cats in Crisis Epsom, Main Page , Cats in Crisis, Epsom. Any donation will help this charity continue their great work. (We have always got our cats from them, it’s a lovely, local charity).

Excited to see our local Downsend School ‘s Bug Barrel at the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival. It was such a colourful display that will definitely delight the bees, butterflies and bugs. Great work kids!
