I Installed this new type of beehive today, these are designed to be a home for the bees throughout the year, not primarily for collecting honey although this is possible.

As you are probably aware the bee population has declined over the passed years and some of the reasons for this is due to lack of a place to live, bees are vital for pollination of all plants. These hives are locally made with everything you need supplied and once the bees have moved in you just leave them to it. There is no beekeeping gear required. These are ethical hives and provide a great home for what are very docile bees.
